This season’s reading.
Eight stories from this season’s reading. The first is on the open shelf. The rest keep their places in the kit. Read in any order. Read aloud, if you can.
— Eleanor Wren, Librarian
Start with Maple.
Maple is the open-shelf story, free to anyone who wanders in. Read her first if you can. The other seven happen in the year that follows, and most of them happen under her branches.
About fifteen minutes aloud. Long enough for one cup of tea.
Seven more, kept with the kit.
Selected for the season by Eleanor Wren, Pinewood Public Library. An imprint of fancy.fyi Press. New volumes go up as they come back from typesetting.
These stories ship inside Hart’s Bakery: Apprentice Afternoon, a 90-minute baking and tea party for 4–8 kids ages 7–9. Each apprentice picks a book, decorates a cookie to match its motif, and helps serve the Literary Tea.
